Refs make mistakes. Was it a bad call... A mistake by the refs? Yes.
I think the ref actually thought Gaudreau was tripped. The ref was wrong.

Do I think the ref gave the Panthers an iffy penalty just because the Flames were down one penalty? No. I think the ref gave out what he thought was a legitimate penalty and he called it the way he thought he saw it.
