I guess I would say that with all the haste and starting this thing and if you're really starting it tomorrow then yeah might as well randomize it @Live in the Now. If somebody wants to join between now and then they can just go to the back of the line. All of that said this is exactly why when we do this sort of thing people need to put the brakes on and put some thought into it.

I usually prefer to have 2 top 15 or top 20 picks over 1 high pick and another pick not until the 30s. But I'm cool with #4, still high enough to get me Netzer if the folks in front of me get suckered in by what-have-you-done-for-me-lately-ism.
