======================
I've had an idea. Let's decide who the greatest players in Avalanche history are.
  • You decide what "greatest" means.
  • Only judge players based on their Avalanche careers. This means no extra points for Sakic's time with the Nordiques, or Ray Bourque's time with the Bruins.
  • Poll will be open for a few days.
  • Each time you vote, suggest a player who should be added for the next round.
  • If there's no consensus on who should be added I'll just pick the next player who's played the most games.
  • Here's a list of everyone: Colorado Avalanche all-time player list at hockeydb.com

And the inherent negativity on this board as exhibited by some of the wild shouts in the Worst Ever thread, which somehow features The Kingslayer making the most reasonable list.
His list doesn't even feature Hunter Miska, who's by far the worst goalie we've ever had play. Also, it has Budaj who ranked at #42.

lol you really added Malkin? I almost voted on him for the lulz but ended voting in my boy Wilson again.

add... oh damn its over.

this is quite depressing for me. the ranking will soon be over and almost none of my faves will feature on it. Wilson, Bordy, Sheriff, Ricci, Tucker, Downie, Boughner, Kasparaitis, LOC, Mauldin, Pickard, Worrell, Yip...:cry::cry:

I legit liked Greg "Darth" Mauldin. He wasn't very good, but he tried hard. A little bit like Travis Brigley in that regard.

dude is such a warrior that he is still playing, at age 41, in some lower level european leagues. he even came back from retirement once to play a little more. gotta admire his determination and love for the sport.

The Stavanger Oilers.

Cool side note, Stavanger Norway is (or was in the early 00s) home to one of only two training facilities for Puma helicopters.

Oh dear, I've been getting my hair growth chemicals mixed up all this time: Theodore blames positive test result on Propecia
Finasteride is predominantly used as an anti-prostate cancer drug, but it was found to prevent hair loss as well. However, it also has a side effect of lowering sexual drive in males. That's probably the reason why he was taking it, he was able to get so many women he had to cut off that drive for only his wife and Paris Hilton.

That makes sense.

What the heck is that from?
Actua Ice Hockey 2 from 1999.

Actua Sports made the official Nagano Olympic hockey PS1 game, Actua Ice Hockey in 1998, and begun to develop an official NHL game for Fox, however Fox pulled out midway and left them without the NHL license.
