"The Biggest Main Event Anyone Could Possibly Put Together Today"
Philadelphia, PA
Commentators: Mauro Ranallo, Don Callis, Steve Corino (doubles as promotion's General Manager)
1. Drew Gulak vs. Essa Rios vs. Taiji Ishimori vs. TM61 (Shane Thorne & Nick Miller)
Pre-Show Tag Team Trios Elimination Match
A number of entrants from a tournament that culminates later in the card, and with designs of putting over the talent and establishing prestige given the level of matches that have led up to it.
2. Roderick Strong vs. Johnny Saint
Singles Match
Strong and Saint were second place in their blocks of said tournament (that we'll get to), have been booked for a match to be #1 contender for the yet-to-be established champion of the PCW NextStar Championship.
3. Larry Zbysko (c) vs. Minoru Suzuki
PCW Commonwealth Championship
Luchas de Apuestas: Hair vs. Hair
"The Living Legend," and Pittsburgh native (sure to endear himself to a Philadelphia crowd), has held the PCW Commonwealth Championship after it winning it from Steve Corino last year. In general, Zbysko has lacked strong challengers, either with subpar competition or avoiding worthy challengers, and getting to the point where he claimed that it was not he who had something to lose since apparently no one would expect Zbysko to lose. At the most recent pay-per-view after another easy victory for Zbysko, Minoru Suzuki, making his first ever televised appearance in Philadelphia, interrupts by making the challenge by teasing hitting him with a chair, only to open it up, slamming down a razor and staring him down, indicating that he is willing to lose something to win the championship. Zbysko initially balks, knowing that Suzuki is a major threat to him but accepts under the insistence that it would elevate his title reign.
4. Io Shirai vs. Nikki Bella
Singles Match
Before heading off to another company, Io Shirai has given PCW the opportunity to host her North American televised debut at Wrestlevania 2. Nikki Bella, as a self-proclaimed legend of the business, has emerged as the challenger after picking up some major victories, and aimed for this match as opposed to a championship match. Wrestling fans in general find Nikki Bella's ability to be sketchy at best - now matching up against someone that many would say is the best current female talent in the world - will Io Shirai make quick work of a multi-time women's world champion?
5. reDRagon (c) (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) vs. Demolition (Ax & Smash)
PCW Tag Team Championship
Tag Team Match
Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish are the most technically gifted yet undersold tag team talents in the world today, many of the opponents they have faced often looked like them, tried to talk like them, attempted to air guitar like them. An open challenge has resulted in one of the longest-reigning tag team champions in wrestling history answering the call in a quintessential big vs. little dream tag team match.
6. Lita (c) vs. Becky Lynch
PCW Women's Championship
Singles Match
Becky Lynch has recently signed on with the promotion looking for a new place to make her mark, as she's been consistently underused regardless of the support she's received from fans elsewhere. In PCW, Lita (who obviously has long since made her name) has recently won the championship not long after she and Becky met each other at another recent historic wrestling event in Philadelphia. Seeing that dream opportunity (especially given the chairman was at the event live in person), and the building interest in the clash of styles between the two, a championship match is made, and Becky has a chance to establish herself as a true top star in the business.
7. Sami Zayn vs. Will Ospreay
Inaugural PCW NextStar Championship
Tournament Final
Sami Zayn (Canada) and Will Ospreay (England) are the finalists from a world-wide block-style light heavyweight/cruiserweight/super juniors tournament which included, among others, competitors previously seen on the card, to be the inaugural champion. Rios (Mexico), both members of TM61 (Australia), Ishimori (Japan), Strong (USA), Saint (Wales), and Gulak (USA, but native to Philadelphia). The story leading into this match is that Ospreay has been setting the world on fire with his matches on the independents, despite coming up just short in another recent tournament in Japan, while Zayn has been trying to rebuild his career having been constantly set back by injuries and usage in, uh, "other" promotions.
8. Kevin Owens vs. Antonio Inoki
Singles Match
#1 Contender
Kevin Owens is somewhat in the same position that we had Sasha Banks in on our Wrestlevania 1 card: A tremendous talent who is kind of floating around trying to figure out how to pick up more opportunities, as he has been passed over for world championship matches, his tag partners have been caught up doing other things. Sami Zayn was in the Light Heavyweight tournament, others went off to other promotions, and Steve Corino has been juggling commentary and general managing. Corino, however, has obliged given he has the power to obtain an opponent for Owens that will provide him the star-making opportunity he seeks, and it happens to be perhaps the biggest worldwide wrestling star of the 60s-70s, and most certainly in Japan, Antonio Inoki. Owens accepts the match under the guise that he is still the bigger star of the two. The winner to be named #1 contender for the PCW World Championship.
9. Sasha Banks (w/ Snoop Dogg) vs. Wendi Richter (w/ Cyndi Lauper)
Singles Match
Coming off going over in 5-star match (per the Wrestling Observer) last year, Sasha Banks has been searching out various other legends of women's wrestling over the past year, especially given that in current times many are looked at more favorably. Enter Wendi Richter who was involved in one of the biggest angles (and screwjobs) in history. Accompanying her will be Cyndi Lauper, rejoining with Richter as they originally did back in the 80s. While, Sasha Banks, not be outdone in pageantry, and also with the intrigue and blessing by the chairman (who last year provided the impetus to put her career back on track) to create as grandiose aesthetic as possible have brought in Snoop Dogg as her second and thus having two musical icons in each corner for the match. For good measure, MTV has agreed to air the match live to whoever still watches the channel.
10. Kenny Omega vs. John Cena
PCW World Championship (currently vacated)
Singles Match
"No Time Limit"
The PCW World Championship was recently vacated by last year's winner of the main event due to other contractual obligations, even though it is assumed that the real reason is that he doesn't want to confront presumed unfinished business with a number of top contenders for the title. Without a champion, nor a #1 contender never being established, General Manger (and color commentator) Steve Corino, and Chairman G. Kim Johnsson set out to put together the biggest money match that could possibly be put together in the wrestling world. At least that's how it was promoted before anybody was signed to the match. It is revealed that John Cena was targeted for such a match, however, he has never worked for the promotion, doesn't want to be seen as not having earned the opportunity (especially given the hostile nature of the market he would be working in). Kenny Omega, meanwhile, is willing to take the match only if Cena is the opponent. As he has now conquered Japan as the current IWGP Champion, lays claim as being the best wrestler in the world, as well as the most marketable despite not even residing on this continent. Cena, now intrigued not only by Omega but also the chance to become a 17-time World Champion against a current World Champion, accepts seeing as this is likely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity given his current schedule and presumed imminent retirement. Omega is now also adamant that the match take place without a time limit, despite constantly being assured that PCW does not operate under time limits. Promotion has been centered around the idea that it is "the Biggest Main Event That Anyone Could Possibly Put Together Today." Will John Cena acheive the "world record" for world championship wins, or does Kenny Omega establish himself as the undisputed biggest money player in the world, anywhere, by winning his first world championship on North American soil.

Cruiserweight Championship Match – Fatal Four Way
ACH vs. 2Cold Scorpio vs. Amazing Red vs. Jerry Lynn (champion)
View attachment 131643
Link: upload 2018 7 13 9 29 40
Cruiserweight champion Jerry Lynn puts his title on the line against three other high fliers in this opening contest. Lynn is probably the most accomplished of all the wrestlers, being a two time TNA X Division Champion, and a former WWF light heavyweight champion as well ECW world heavyweight champion. Lynn is also no stranger to 2cold Scorpio from their days in ECW, and Scorpio’s 450 splash was voted the best wrestler maneuver in 1992 by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Perhaps the least overall known wrestler in this match, ACH, is best known for his work in ROH will have his work cut out for him going up against three savory veterans. ACH is no slouch though, as he was voted as the #58 best wrestlers in 2015 by PWI. This brings us to our last combatant, Amazing Red. A former three time TNA X Division champion, and former NWA Tag Team Champion with co-competitor Jerry Lynn, these two know each other well. There is no doubt that we are going to see death defying moves from all of these competitors, and who will come out on top? Your guess is as good as mine!
Mark Henry vs. Shinya Hashimoto
View attachment 131645
Link: upload 2018 7 13 9 30 11
In what could be an absolute knockout, drag out fight we see two tough gents match up with each other for the first time ever. Shinya Hashimoto will be traveling stateside all the way from Japan to enter Mark Henry’s Hall of Pain, but is Mark Henry ready for this former three-time IWGP heavyweight champion, AJPW Triple Crown Champion, and NWA Hall of Famer? This might be one of Mark Henry’s toughest matches ever in his career. Hashimoto claims that Mark Henry will feel his infamous vertical drop brain buster, but there is no way he can pull that move off on the World’s Strongest Man, right? Although I would not put it past the man, they call the “King of Destruction.”

The Valiant Brothers (champions) w/ Manager Classy Freddie Glassie vs. The Nasty Boys w/ Special Guest Manager Reggie White
View attachment 131647
Link: upload 2018 7 13 9 30 45
The build has been epic, and The Nasty Boys finally get their shot against the match dodging Valiant Brothers. The Nasty Boys come into this match as fan favorites with Jerry Sags playing up his Philly roots and billing themselves from Philadelphia, PA. The trash talking has gone back and forth with Johnny Valiant being born in Pittsburgh (booooo). The Valiant Brothers may have taken it too far slamming on the city and its degenerate, ugly, smelly, low-life Eagles fans. That is when Reggie White decided to step in, defending the fans and city’s honor and decreeing that he will be the special guest manager and will be ringside for The Nasty Boys during the match. We can only assume some shenanigans may ensue as Freddie Blassie wants to ensure his Valiant Brothers keep the gold around their waists. Reggie White has different ideas, and will be cheering on The Nasty Boys in the hopes the Valiant Brothers title reign is “sacked.”
Barry Windham vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler
View attachment 130867
Link: upload 2018 7 13 9 31 18
A classic story of “the underdog” Barry Windham vs. the man who has won and done it all, Jerry Lawler. While Windham is no slouch when it comes to winning championships, his list pales in comparison to that of Lawler, who has captured 168 championships during his career. The match is being billed as a battle of The Best of Texas vs. The King of Tennessee. A lot of fans think Windham may not stand a chance against such a famed wrestler as Lawler, but if you listen to the IWC, Windham is one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time with multiple 5 star matches from WON to go along with a Rookie of the Year award and Match of the year award vs. Rich Flair in 1986. We would be surprised if the fans do not get behind Windham for this match.
Intercontinental Championship Title vs. Career Match
Cody Rhodes (Champion) vs. Harley Race (career)
View attachment 131649
Link: upload 2018 7 13 9 31 54
Most wrestling fans are well aware of the Dusty Rhodes vs. Harley Race rivalry, perhaps one of the best of all time. The feud has now carried over to the son of Dusty, Cody. Cody Rhodes is currently riding high with his career resurgence and a reign as IC champion, but Harley Race wants to end that reign and take Cody down, reminiscent of how Dusty took him down for his own championship belt. He wants to beat Cody, rub it in, and let him know how the taste of losing feels at the hands of one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Cody agreed to the match, but with one stipulation, Harley Race puts his career on the line for a chance at his title. Cody has told Harley he is going to do what his father should have done years ago, end his career. Will we see a new IC champion and a humiliated loser, or will this be the last time we ever see Harley Race step foot inside a wrestling ring again?

Team WCW: Diamond Dallas Page, Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) vs.
Team ECW: Rob Van Dam, The Dudley Boyz (D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley)
Let the trash talking subside and the epic battle for promotion supremacy begin! I hope you know the rules: 3 teams, 2 rings, 1 cage. Each member comes out randomly at different intervals and once every wrestler has entered, “the match beyond” begins. Pinfalls are allowed in this version. Each team has talked up their promotion, how they are the best, and the most loved. Now it is time for each team to battle it out for bragging rights and promotion supremacy. The participants need no introductions, some of the best tag teams in wrestling history along with some of the most impressive singles competitors team up and face each other in a match that I am sure fans will be talking about for ages. There is absolutely no doubt who the crowd will be cheering for seeing how this match is taking place at the famed ECW Arena. The question is will Team ECW be able to deliver to its fans?
Women’s Championship Match
Jaguar Toyota (champion) vs. Ember Moon
View attachment 131653

Jaguar Toyota won her first champion at the age of 18, and for those who have not seen her wrestle; I would say you are missing out on this WON Hall of Famer. Injuries held her back after her title reigns, but Jaguar has clawed back to capture another title and Ember Moon is not taking this opportunity lightly to take the championship off such a decorated wrestler. Fans are definitely expecting some great athleticism and state of the art wrestling when these two women clash.
