He was the laughing stock on here at the beginning of the season, and nearly everyone said he was done in the NHL. He turned it around in Montreal and in 17 GP has a GAA of 2.25 and a SV% of .936

Antti Niemi, the first finnish goaltender who has won stanley cup, yey! Had to say, Niemi is one the worst finnish goaltenders ever who has played at in "new" NHL. There are other average ones too, but Niemi WON something, how about that? Im a finn and I admit that Niemi was really average. Maybe back-up at his best.

He will not back those stats up next year at all and will be waived again next year. He's not a good goalie.

Maybe he should just follow Stephane Waite. He seems to have most of his success wherever Waite is the goalie coach.
