He did that on a stacked team you know, he wasn’t alone. He was traded because Owen Sound didn’t even think that Suzuki would have been able to carry them in playoffs so there’s that.
It's funny how last summer all the talk was "Frost can't rely on Katchuk, Raddysh, and Kopacka next year". Oops...guess he didn't need them.

Anyways, both guys are good. I just think it's dumb to dismiss Frost as not being close to Suzuki in talent when it can easily be argued he is a better prospect.

Both teams are happy with their guys. Let's move on.

True but to evaluate prospects u gotta look at their attributes and skills not their point totals. Can their skills translate to the NHL is the key question you should ask esp when their point totals are quite similar.

Cut off line, 25 years old and 40 games. 9 forwards 6 d and notable goalies. Some teams have more for a certain position as I believe it is needed to be shown. Goalies Cutoff line is 30 games.

To Add
Arizona - 1 vote

Added Edmonton.

I voted for Philadelphia here, and Arizona to be added.
Looks about right for Ottawa ,but Englund isnt ranked as high as someone like Lajoie, and we also have another solid goaltending prospect in Hogberg....What Ottawa lacks in high end pieces they do have considerable depth at every position...Next season it should easily be in the top 5 ,as we should gain another lottery pick plus the SJ 1st

Agreed. But Frost has done nothing since being drafted to indicate those skills WON'T translate. But Frost was being brushed aside...and that is what I have the problem with.

I feel like LA is being underrated. Is it just because of Vilardi's injury because I like their forward depth even without Vilardi? They're #3 for me.
I think LA problems is the huge question marks regarding their top prospects. More specifically Vilardi and Kaliyev.
They are definately up there with the best.

They are definately up there with the best.

Kaliyev has question marks, but when he's the 5th or 6th best forward prospect in the system, I don't really mind.

They are definately up there with the best.

I have them 8th-best in the league overall and fourth across the NHL as far as forwards go, behind ANA, NYR and MTL, and the difference isn't much between third and fourth place. Montreal has a greater number of prospects than LA at the forward position and that influences the rankings a bit as, even though he probably won't make the league, a guy like Khisamutdinov is still better than nothing on the Kings' part.

To better illustrate my point, here is a comparison of the top 5 forwards between LA and MTL the way I see it.

Turcotte>Caufield (Turcotte is better, Caufield is still great)
Vilardi<Poehling (with injury issues, Poehling wins by a lot)
Kupari<Suzuki (higher upside, plain and simple)
JAD=Ylonen (more of a sure-thing vs better top-end potential, Ylonen sometimes will look all-world playing in the Liiga, or look average)
Thomas>Evans (Evans will make the NHL either this year or next, but Thomas has the potential to be a true top 6 contributor while Evans looks to be more of a middle-6 kind of guy)

How is a guy like Reilly Walsh not listed for NJ, but an irrelevant player from a draft 5 years ago, Josh Jacobs, included?

Makes absolutely zero sense.

I'd also probably include Marian Studenic ahead of Mikhail Maltsev, but that's less egregious.

Is it though?

Id rather have a higher-end than depth in my prospect pool. The higher end has far better chances to succeed

Jack Hughes and Ty Smith isnt matched by any pool available on these lists rn
I'd say CHI and VAN have similar top twos and better depth than NJ. I'd rate Boqvist and Podkolzin higher than Smith but obviously Jack beats Quinn and Dach. I agree high end is more valuable, but you always have to take depth into account when doing these rankings.

at this sage it is quality vs quantity
Vancouver has some elite prospects like Hughes and Podkolzin, and LA/ NYI / MTL / PHI have less high-end talent, but more average prospects
I always choose quality ahead of quantity

Podkolzin above Smith? The guy was CHL and WHL dman of the year! He nearly made the Devils last year, was last cut, but didnt because some think it was expansion - hes not eligible now because he stayed down for a year.

Smith is being underrated IMO

Is the difference between Ty Smith and Josh Brook that big? Big enough to compensate for Romanov vs White?

No way Pod is above Smith. Smith looks to have 1st/2nd/3rd d-man bookmarked, whereas Podkolzin is still very much a wild card.

Kaliyev has question marks, but when he's the 5th or 6th best forward prospect in the system, I don't really mind.

He's the 7th best forward on my list of Kings prospects. Here's my top 10, as a Kings fan:

1 - Alex Turcotte
2 - Cal Petersen
3 - Gabriel Vilardi (if he is able to play this year, I'd move him up to #1 without question)
4 - Mikey Anderson
5 - Carl Grundstrom
6 - Rasmus Kupari
7 - Jaret Anderson-Dolan
8 - Tobias Bjornfot
9 - Akil Thomas
10 - Kale Clague

Kaliyev and Fagemo are 11 and 12 on my list.

Not going to say the Kings should be #3, as there are a lot of valid questions, but I do think people are sleeping on them.

Itd be Reilly Walsh, not Colton White, and yes the difference is big enough. Ty Smith is a top-3/5 defensive prospect

Entwistle needs to be added to Chicago’s prospects, above Soderlund, Wise, and Altybarmakyan.
