    ANA.

They have some impressive Forward prospects. NYI/CAR are next.

    Two things.

First I'd have NYI, Ana, and CAR as my next 3.

Also, shouldn't we talk about how mid tier Ottawa's pool is despite them being so bad. That's concerning lol

Well to be fair to Ottawa they didn't have their first round pick this year that would've been Bowen Byram. And they have Chabot and Tkachuk as young stars already in the league. They have alot of depth in their system and next year drafting a star in a deep draft will boost them up.

Matters to anybody coming in lately and looking at it like me. Like who voted on Audette still being part of our team and Suzuki and Ikonen on LW and Teasdale on RW?

I feel like people are sleeping on Buffalo. I’m not a sabres fan at all but they have some pretty high end talent in Cozens and luukkonen. Jokiharhju, Olofsson and Johnson are not slouches either.

Top end F, top end G and decent defensive depth. Those top 2 should have them in top 10 alone imo let alone their 3-6 prospects as well who are on par with most teams 3-6s

I feel like every team voted in so far has a better top 2 and just as strong depth behind them. BUF still has about 4 more rounds after this one at least before they start getting serious consideration.

I feel the top 3/5 (Cozenz, UPL, Joki, Goalofsson, Pilut) matches up well with most teams left and some recently voted in, with some decent depth and quality left after that.

I also feel that some might be less familiar with our group since most are either from this past draft or are non 1st round, non NA players. So much so that I think a lot would take some credit away from Olofsson if they knew today was his 24th birthday. (EDIT: I'm pretty sure Cozens and UPL are the only two CHL players lol)

Do I think they are for sure the next best team to be voted in? No, but definitely in the mix. Our depth on D being our current strong suit, mixed with high talent at all 3 positions.

Also also, I think our group has good chance to rise or fall considerably in the near future, for mostly the same reasons I think some might be unfamiliar with the group. Two 1st rounders from this previous draft, UPL had just his 1st season of really high end play, and a bunch of non NA players on the cusp of showing their true potential in a year or two (for better or worse). Should have a lot clearer picture on almost all of our guys this coming up season, and yes I realize you can kind of say that about most prospects.

BUF does have some good talent, but many of their best prospects have already been promoted to the NHL. Maybe if this thread involved the Top players under 25 they might be Top 5, but with the current crop compared to the others it’ll be a few rounds before they’re seriously considered.

Who should be added to the poll next.

    Calgary - (Valimaki, Dube, Pelletier)
    Columbus -( Foudy, Texier, Gavrikov)
    Minnesota - (Kaprizov, Boldy, Johansson)
    Pittsburgh - (Poulin, Oliver-Joseph, Addison)
San Jose - (Chekovich, Chmelevsky, Merkley)
Washington - ( Samsonov, Alexeyev, Mcmichael)

    I'm thinking Minny.

Do people not know who Glass, Krebs, Elvenes, Hague, Dorofeyev, Morozov, Korczak are ? Is that it ? I guess. A few of those are underrated prospects, but Glass could be the best player out of the NHL at the moment. This is crazy that theyre not voted in. Krebs was ranked as a top 10 prospect all year, Dorofeyev destroyed the MHL in scoring and played good in the KHL as a 18 years old.

Cody Glass is the best prospect left on the board, with Necas and Carolina doesn't have the quality depth to go against Vegas.

People are voting for Anaheim and Ottawa and thats crazy to me.

Glass vs Zegras vs Batherson is an easy Glass.
Hague vs Steel vs Brannstrom is Hague for me, but I can accept tie to Brannstrom/slight edge brannstrom.
Krebs vs Terry vs Brown is a landslide for Krebs
Dorofeyev vs Comtois vs JBD is either a three-way tie if you don't know much about Dorofeyev, or landslide if you've watched him.
Elvenes vs Lundestrom vs Thomson is close all over the board, IMO.
Morozov vs Tracey vs Norris is an edge to Tracey, pretty easily.
Korczak vs Jones vs Wolanin is a tie with Korczak and Jones IMO.

After that it does get murky and Vegas seems to lose most matchups as theyve traded a lot of picks away in the last three years, and they don't have any 16/15 picks, but the first four are so good that it's impossible to vote against them. People put too much weight on depth and not enough on the top prospects. A pool should be decided on your top prospect first and foremost and your top 5, 6 or 7, not top 15.
