Doughty is living off of rep, he gets the bad team excuse yet other great players still play well on bad teams.

His name value is massive though so I can't call it a bad pick.

doughty is ranked #193 due to things like ineffective passing that leads to poor contributions for generating shots for his team, a high failure rate for zone exits, and not even logging huge minutes against elites anymore

still almost a standard deviation above for denying zone entries tho

over the past three seasons, Guentzel is #3 in xGoals adjusted by shooting talent behind Ovechkin and Matthews. he's also super underrated with his passing.

and with eye test and playoff record, you can tell he's a gamer and is just so f***ing smart at finding open ice.

newest pandascores have him at #24, which suggests he is criminally underrated as per "he's just a crosby byproduct" rather than being seen as a legit star winger
