4th time is a charm for Oskar. I didn't have Lauko in my top 5, but I can see it. Once past Steen, I think it remains a pretty interesting exercise.

I know Senyshyn has only played two games in the NHL (more than most prospects in the top 5), but I still wanted to compare his stats to Frederic.

Small sample size and different situations these players were in, but I don't understand why people write off Senyshyn so quickly. I have a feeling if he gets 15 games this season like Frederic did, his stock will rise.

Went Axel for this one - think it's a crapshoot at this point, all these guys have good potential but a lot to prove still.

I’ve been going Steen for a few picks now, but have no problem with him dropping this far. Those other guys were my next choices.

My biggest surprise is Keyser right now. I see he’s finally getting some votes, but I feel like goalies get widely ignored in these types of polls.

Senyshyn's goal was an empty-net goal.

He's been consistently getting votes from the beginning from a small but dedicated group (that includes me).

Can we redo this?

Johnny ‘Red light’ Beecher not being one is disgraceful

Thankfully we have slow motion so I can see him scoring he’s so fast

I do like how so many of his highlights begin with the camera man trying to catch up to him

I seem to remember some folks being high on Frederic. Then he comes out and has a good fight in his NHL debut.

But it seems like the sheen has worn off quickly.

And the super sniper should be able to beat a goalie, especially AHL ones more than 14 times a year.
Head over to the Senyshyn thread and watch the video I posted that has highlights of Senyshyn in Providence last year. Frederic’s AHL numbers aren’t that much better.
