Sorry for it being a bit late! But better late than never right? We finally say good by to the NHL All-Time Leader in games played. It's been a hell of a career for the Edmonton native. Though he was never a main award winning guy, Crab Mann was Mr. Consistent. He was always relied upon to put up great numbers and just lead his team by example. Not to mention that he is an incredibly loyal player. He dedicated so much of his career to the Los Angeles Kings. Lets also recognize that he is a dominant goal scorer. He only got 40 goals or more once and that was in his rookie season. He's come close many times getting 39 or 38 goals, 7 times. He is a guy who could really do it all. He had exceptional vision and could make so many plays. He was also very physical and often made the smart defensive play. He was able to secure a Stanley Cup in 2035. He is just a winner, he was a big part of the Team Canada program. Winning 4 olympic gold medals in style. He is a leader a winner and an all around word class talent! The only wish I believe he would have wanted, would have been to play for his hometown team the Edmonton Oilers. Never-the-less, Congrats on an amazing career.
