Bringing it back for version 15. We are just about to wrap up V14, and wanted to get the template up and early to give people enough time to sign up. It also allows me to test the database and make sure I'm inputting all the player info properly and to avoid any potential crashes.
EHM Superstar Career Start Options
On your new creation template, you must state which career start option you'd like. I think this will help diversify the story lines a bit! Everyone is free to choose which ever option suits them the best! We don't all have to follow the same career path!
Option #1 - The normal option. Start as a 14 year old in North America/Europe/Anywhere in the world, get drafted into the CHL, stay in Europe or play junior A, USHL NAHL and then commit to go to college (you choose your junior preference just like normal)
Option #2 - Start as an overaged player in the Canadian Hockey League and see if you get drafted or signed as a UFA somewhere
Option #3 - Start as a Junior/Senior in the NCAA or CIS and forego the draft, see where your pro career takes you after college
Option #4 - Start as a 21 year old Pro Free Agent. You can choose to start your career in any European League (KHL, SEL, Swiss, German, Finnish, ect) or you can start in the ECHL, AHL or SPHL *NOTE YOUR CONTRACT WILL BE RANDOMIZED FROM 1 to 3 years.
don't worry about Birth Years, I'll figure that all out for you. Just put your Birth Month and Day. Hope you enjoy some of the options presented!

Notes for V15:
V15 Note #1 - You are free to choose any country you want. I will not be managing a specific country like we did with Japan. More diversity the better. However if representing your country is important, I suggest you pick a country that has a good chance to make the world championships top tier. If you choose a low reputation nation it is unlikely you will do national team duty once you hit the NHL. Would love to see some Swedish, Belarus, Germany. But I also love the Canada/USA guys. It's up to you!
V15 Note #2 - No more than 2 superstars per person in this version
V15 Note #3 - Only one player type per superstar, please ensure you choose a CURRENT NHL player. Once that player is chosen he cannot be used for another person. So it's first come first serve. If someone chooses a Connor McDavid player type he is off the board. So be quick and creative
- Please use real life names if possible
- We haven't seen a lot of players from Countries like Slovakia, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Russia, Great Britain, France ect, so it would be nice to see some of that. However I love seeing players from US and Canada as well!
- For v15 we will have greater CA and PA randomization to allow for realism, some people will be first rounders, some will not, some will make it to the show, some will not. We are going to try something new!
- Excellent will be randomized from 18-20, Mediocre will be randomized from 8-10
- In the Name of Team You Want to Play For: please tell me which team specifically you'd like to play for. If you'd like to go to college (NCAA or CIS) you must be playing for a USHL, Jr. A or lower, Prep or High School team
- New for this version if you choose Europe and want to end up in the KHL, please either choose a KHL team and I'll give you a 7 year deal so you're there past your draft year or indicate KHL eventually and I'll set your contract to expire in 2 seasons and hopefully a KHL team will sign you. (please let me know if you want extra years in the KHL however)
- Please remember once an NHL superstar has been chosen to be moulded after you cannot choose that player. It helps with creating different types of player builds.
- PLEASE TRY AND BE REALISTIC ABOUT HEIGHT AND WEIGHT. Our players do grow! Try and match height and weight to player type, obviously if you want to end up as a 6'7 defenseman go for it. Or a 6'5 winger/center go for it. Just try and take into consideration growth, but it's not a huge deal.
