Hey everyone. Hope all is well in your part of the planet!

I was really impressed with the global series and during the world cup i cam accross a number of Swedish fans that made the trip.

My two favourite players of all time Alfie and Karlsson are Swedish so I am a big fan!

I have a question regarding Erik. How is he perceived in Sweden?

Also,

Is he pencilled in to be the next captain of the National team?

Cheers guys!

He's probably the biggest star in Sweden right now, along with Lundqvist. Both because they're great at hockey and they have large (but different) personalities. He's huge in the hockey world and he was and will be the poster boy when there's a tournament with NHLers coming around.

Swedish tradition suggest that more often than not there will be a more laid back, quieter personality than what Erik is. I don't think he'd be considered before Landeskog, Hedman, Ekman-Larsson, Filip Forsberg.
