Needs to be said: the Bears home unis are fantastic - excellent use of less-is-more.
Those are actually the practice jerseys. They always use those in preseason.
Did he ever return? We need this highlights link posted here after each game this year. Great production value. A link to the lineup would be cool too. I expect a lot more action in this thread than EVER this year.

Was that Lujo whipping that guy’s ass?!
The Bears social media team definitely stepped their game up this year so far.

It wasn’t LuJo, it was Kale Kessy who’s known to Ben a bruiser

Everyone will be able to watch both of Hershey's games this weekend. Their home opener is Saturday versus Wilkes-Barre so that should be a solid game. Sunday they play the Providence Bruins. Two games against solid teams to open the season.

Judging off of the updated training camp roster, looks like Hershey's veterans are Matt Moulson, Mike Sgarbossa, Liam O'Brien, Christian Djoos and Erik Burgdoerfer. They are in compliance with the veteran rule for each game if all of those guys play.

Hershey sent down Ed Wittchow, Tommy Hughes, Tariq Hammond and Parker Milner. The Milner send down makes me think one of Samsonov or Copley will be sent down and Vitek gets the net for the weekend baring any injury.

My projected lines:

Forwards
Snively-Maillet-Moulson
O'Brien-Sgarbossa-Leason
Gersich-Pilon-Pinho
Malenstyn-Weis-AJF

X-Kessy, McCarthy, Whitney
Injured: Kody Clark, Riley Sutter

Defensemen (Any combo of these 6 will play)
Djoos-Burgdoerfer
LuJo-Williams
Alexeyev-Hobbs

X-Nardella, Geisser (probably one or both rotate in for Sunday's game)
Injured: Bindulis

They should make one more round of cuts to send a forward or two to SC and possibly a D if Washington reassigns anyone else.

Explain the veteran rule please.
Veterans are guys that have 320+ AHL/NHL/European League games played and Exempt Veterans are guys with 260-319 AHL/NHL/European League games played. I believe the rule is four Veterans and one Exempt Veteran per game. Goalies don't count and exempt veterans count as veterans if you don't have enough guys that have the 320+ games played threshold. So basically each team can play 5 players with 260+ games of experience.

Really like the looks of those d pairings - A Djoos/Burgdoefer top pairing seems particularly strong.

Too bad about Bindulis' injury - guy can't seem to get any traction.
That should be one of the top pairings in turn league if they are indeed paired together. The only question mark on those pairs is Hobbs, who hasn’t had a great showing in the preseason games. Maybe Nardella or AA slides in to play RD

Have to think MF gets sent down once Kemps is back in DC. Any guess on the pairings after that?
We'll probably get a better idea of that after this weekend, especially if they have some of the LD guys playing their offside. There's too many LD in Hershey as it is

I'm just not a fan at all of Twitter people who put their projected lines in graphics rather than text. Not doing any favours to those of us with very weak data plans.

Much rather have the graphic in line form, instead of grouped out by position but oh well first world problems right?

Alexeyev and Djoos with the first period goals. Pilon with an absolute beauty of a spin o rama pass to find a wide open AA back side to open the scoring.

Fist PP unit featured Moulson, Pilon, Sgarbossa, Djoos and AA. Second unit was Mailett, Snively, Leason, Pinho and LuJo.

First PK unit was Malenstyn and Pinho. Second PK looked like AJF and LOB.

Best line so far is the LOB-Pilon-Pinho line. They have dominated offensive zone play.

This team will be very good once they gel and play a bunch of games together. Potential is through the roof
