And in the end, if Seth Jones bothers to pay attention to his man the game probably never goes to OT.

Horrible job by the “top” pairing all night.

Not sure what happened there. Dzingel or someone was pointing across the rink and Seth lost him.

But Seth had a lot of quality plays to break up "problems" with his stick.

If we would have managed to win that, it would have clearly fallen into the stolen game category. Need a better performance in Game 2.

Foligno, Anderson, and Texier: the only players on the CBJ to NOT be on the ice for a single shot for.

not good. (although, Andy did hit a post)

Pro's: CBJ proved they are still for real, playing to playoff level hockey and staying in the game - despite being outshot badly in the first.

Con's: Weresnki deciding to be a linesman in OT.

PLAY TO THE ****ING WHISTLE ZACH.

He better make up for it in game 2.

Could have gone either way pretty easily. I don't want to hear about our fundamentals or individual mistakes. This is round 2 against the Bruins, it's not going to be pretty. Keep going next game.

I’m not as down as many of you. Overtime loss, on the road, first time past the first round, vs an experienced opponent. They know, now, that they can beat this team. Get the split, come home, and ride the crowd to a win!
Yup. Glass half-full.

I'll add that Bob's still playing really well. What was your biggest fear going into the playoffs?

Pretty much every facet of our game was bad tonight, with the exception of goaltending. Can't blame Bob.

Game was truly lost at the blue line: Our zone entry was downright embarrassing tonight. EVERY possession was a dump and chase, while Boston skated in our zone at will.

Blame Werenski all you want. Losing that game was inevitable. To win we would have had to score a goal in over time and that was not going to happen with the way we were playing. Unless we shot a puck into the rafters from our own end and it bounced back down on the ice behind Rask.

Off the top of their net, down his back and into the net. Nah, that could never happen!

WE also were not getting men in front of Rask to block his view.

I have an idea, if we are in PO overtime, don't play Werenski at all. Second year in a row OT game winning goal scored because of him.

The tape of him not playing defence this season is 2 hours long.
It's more than just him... We had four guys to their two... Play until you hear a Whisle.... Imo Boston stole that game, we led 2-1 with 7 minutes to go and lost 3-2... Not good.
