In Finland we have few very hot player in this draft and the best one IMO is Sasha Barkov Jr. hows father have born in Russian and played long time in FNL Tappara Finland, but Sasha Jr. is Finnish born. Barkov have made this year almos point per game in Jr. A Sm-liiga and he is big skilled guy.

Crus-Rydberg will be something special. His skating is just amazing.

Plus, him being 16GP-17G-22A-39TP in TV-Pucken, outscoring i.e. MPS with less games played.

Wayyy too earlyyy:)

Then don't post in this thread if you think so.
In 2006 they were talking about 2009's John Tavares, Victor Hedman, etc.

It's always fun to see up and comers... And I LOVE looking at OLD lists vs new lists to see how players have changed/risen/fallen.

I'm very excited, especially to see Alex Forsberg in the WHL.

I've never heard of this Barkov guy, but looks interesting hmm.

Uhm, his top speed is actually average. But he's got good balance and can easily change direction. His biggest asset is his vision, it's Nick Backstrom all over. He sees the game one step ahead of everybody and his passes are amazing.

Uh yeah, I wasn't exactly refering to his top speed although I still expect him to improve it.

Good work! But I expected Wallmark no lower than 20? He's currently the only 1995 born player on the U17 (1994-born) national team. And I definitely expected Sorensen in the first round...
Nice to see Andreas Johnson get some recognition. I could also see William Silwerfeldt, André Burakovsky, Elias Lindholm, Jacob De La Rose and Daniel Norbe on this list. But this is very early and they might of course end up not being drafted at all.

If he´s got just an once of his fathers talant and the thing his father lacked (work ethics) he is gonna be a superstar. ;) Really nice stats so far for a 15 year old kid.

Just wanted to know, is Kevin Ekman-Larsson related in some way to Oliver ? Also, where do you think Jordan Subban (PK's brother) might get picked ? PK says he's better than he was at the same age, so I would have think late 1st / early 2nd.

Yeah barkov is definetly forgotten but i would put Ikonen ahead of tanus and lehkonen. 2013 draft year seems to be strongest draft year for finland for many years.

Yes, you might be right that Ikonen should be higher and i think that too, but one thing is that he has to grow atleas 5-10cm before the draft, if he leave in that height, he is not very interesting player to scouts. I hope he will grow. Also Ville Husso might come down if he's not playing better, but he has lot of potential.

Yes Kevin (KEL?) is OEL's younger brother. He is VERY hard to evaluate atmo. He is playing a very immature game so far, where he refuses to make the simple play, no matter the situation. But he's got the same nice hands and skating as his brother, so chances are he is going to become the same caliber prospect as OEL. He really needs to learn to play more responsible though.

You realize that some of these players are already okaying in the SEL or SuperElit, Jr A Sm-liiga etc., right?

scoutman1, last known info on Tomáš Torok´s height/weight is 185cm/78kg, which would make him around 6.07 feet and 172lbs.

Brandon d-man Ryan Pulock probably should be on that list somewhere. A lot of people like him better than his team-mate Roy (#33).
