from a Ranger POV, I would take McNeil @ that point. I doubt Isles take Hamilton with Landeskog on the board. No way Humperdeau falls to 10. and if the Leafs Nab Schiefele and Khocklachev, they made a steel.

Islanders won't take Murphy with both Lando & Huberdeau on the board. I'd also be surprised if Scheifele and Puempel fall that far.

No complaints about the Leafs there. If Scheifele is there at that point and can get Khokhlachev that'd be a really good first round.

Probably right but a year ago if someone told me Cam Fowler and Brandon Gormley would fall so late in the 1st round I wouldn't have believed them. All it takes is for a couple of teams to like someone else over him.

I think Fowler and Gormley falling would be more comparible to Hamilton and Murphy not being picked top 10. One reasont hey fell was teams felt that it safer drafting forwards
