Help on Pads

I just bought 7k Senior Goal Pads and have a question? I noticed that when i put the pads on that the bottem of the pad was like a inch or two of the ice. The pad has no indent for the skate to go in which i think is wierd.

thats because you purchased a pad designed primarily for the Butterfly goalie. IF the puck is low on the ice then so will the goalies pads. The very shallow or non existant skate channel allows for secure integration and a RAPID rotation into the pro-fly position.
