    You might recall in the mock draft I read the riot act to folks who were suggesting the Lightning should select a defenseman or goaltender. And, it seems to me, a lot of people have seen TSN's mock draft and assumed that Ondrej Pavelec is a good default selection at 30. I said it then and I'll reiterate it: the Lightning need forwards.

    Given that he goes on to foreshadow a smaller player with heart will be taken over a bigger one with less heart... perhaps Cogliano would be the better choice at 30?

    They took 6 straight forwards after that. The 1st rounder was strange.
