Dunn wasn't mad about the hit in the corner. He was mad because he caught JJ's stick up high as they were both going to the front of the net. Dunn gave JJ a little shot with his glove. JJ delivered a brutal a cross check. Suspension deserved.
Dunn got mad that JJ's stick grazed his shoulderpad while they were fighting for position, so he crosschecked him in the neck/side of the head? Sounds like you're just proving Dunn is whiney rat.
I love all these posts about how Khairas hit was so brutal and visious, but Dunn was upset over a clean hit and puck battle so him doing it is fine.
Guess what, he still took the lumber to the side of a vulnerable, unsuspecting players head and neck area. It doesn't matter that Khaira didn't fall down crying like Dunn did, it's just as bad, if not worse because it was retaliation for a clean hockey play that nobody would expect to have coming.
Once Dunn decided to check Khaira in the head with his stick, he knew he was going to get it, so he was ready to flop at the drop of a hat.
If you're going to dish out dirty hits in response to clean hockey plays, then act surprised and fall to the ice like you've been shot when they decide to stand up for themselves, you're a piece of shit who doesn't deserve any respect.
As far as I'm concerned, what Dunn did was worse than what Khaira did in context.
