• The fantasy draft will consist of 16 rounds, using a snake format.
• The team on the clock has 1 hour to make its selection.
• The clock will freeze between 12 AM ET and 11 AM ET.
• If a team misses its pick, the team is skipped until the end of the round.
• If a team misses 2 consecutive picks, their GM will be fired.
• YOU MUST PM THE NEXT GM.
• TO AVOID ISSUES, SEND IN LISTS TO HC & IR.

• Teams may have a cap hit of no higher than $100M at any point during the drafting period, NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Teams may have a cap hit of no higher than $100M at any point during the offseason.
• Teams may have a cap hit of no higher than $95M by the beginning of the 2014-2015 season.
• There is no bonus cushion for Entry Level Contracts.
• Using capgeek for all numbers is mandatory.

I did too...3 years ago. Then came the new contracts. Voracek, Byfuglien, Rask. I like running a bit lower on the salary side of things BEFORE the draft so you can gamble on some of the overpaid guys kicking in the FA pool. (Brian Campbell last year was great for me, but at 7M)

If we had 30 teams I would agree, but seeing as how there are only 14 of us we have access to more star players per team, and they eat up a ton of salary. There's also a disturbing trend of RFAs being paid big time right after their ELCs and star players are being paid more and more while low/mid skill players are being paid roughly the same.

I'm fine with keeping it at 95. Seems more than fair. Or a slight bump to 97.5 just to annoy Nuckles.

95M works for me. I think that's high, as well. It shouldn't be a major issue, but it shouldn't be something you can completely ignore either.
