Personally I think they are almost interchangeable. Both 6' footers, but skinny and feisty with offensive talent and little defensive abilities. Both need a fire lit up their ass if they are going to be productive for their team. Both these guys are very frustrating as they clearly have all the talent necessary to be top line guys, they just dont care to show it on a consistant basis. If they dont make big strides this year, and knowing how lucky Hawk management is, they'll be given away and turn into big stars elsewhere.

Where does Yakoubov fit in?

Yakubov is ahead of both of them in terms of readiness. He is older than both and played an extra year of NA hockey. The Hawks are expecting him to crack the line up as a possible #2 or 3 center this year. He has shown alot more physicality than Radulov and Vorobiev and is also bigger.

I didn't include Yakubov in the question because he is a center... the other 2 are more similar because they are wingers.

What happened with his knee surgeries, a "mistake"?

Hawks brass was never very specific about it, but apparently when they brought him over to the States after the draft, Hawk doctors determined that the surgery Vorobiev had on his knee had been botched in some fashion and had to be essentially re-done. Cost him about a year of development.
