hi guys,

I was wondering which defensemen were able so far to score a hattrick in an NHL or NHL play-off game.

the only one I know of right now is andy delmore (PHI), but I´m sure there´s lots more.

any written answer or link to page is greatly appreciated.

thx.

There have been lots. Paul Coffey had a few.

The record for goals by a defenseman is 5 by Toronto's Ian Turnbull.

Tom Bladon of the Flyers had 4 & 4 during his record breaking ight, that might be the most unbelievable single game in NHL history considering Bladon's actual career.

To this day the only defenceman to accomplish the feat in a playoff game I believe. Certainly the only time it's happened in the actual Stanley Cup Finals.

Desjardins is the only defenseman to score a Finals hat trick, but other defenseman do have playoff hat tricks.

I could've sworn Orr had a couple, but maybe my memory is just that foggy. He was a force of nature several times, though.

I believe Ray Bourque had one against les Nordiques (~1983?).

MacInnis has had a couple. 1 in 91-92, and one in 96-97.

Man, I miss watching Mac play.

Bladon's came against the Cleveland Barons, 11-1 win.

I know Steve Duchesne had one for the Flyers, too, against the NYI.
