Seems as though the complaints about this team being unlikable has as much to do with the NHL being unlikable. Interference is only called when a damn impedes progress after a dump in. Hooking and neutral zone picking is never called and the game looks soooooo slow.
I believe the Pens mistakenly trusted the NHL that they were going to continue calling the interference etc., like they did shortly after the lockout. The Pens built their team around that trust and are now paying for it. The players simply don't match up with what it takes to win a cup anymore.
Is this Sheros fault or is it just to late to reverse direction?
