Has RNH finally flipped the coin?

Cool that he seems to have chemistry with McDavid, but if he really does find his game I'd rather have him as a great third center. Wingers are much easier to find, keep looking for them and eventually they'll find someone who complements McDavid.

At the time I would have gone Landeskog but they wanted a centre for Hall.

He was never going to be a Tavares/Stamkos/Matthews/MackInnon etc type of #1 pick but if he can score 70+ points riding McDavids coattails go right ahead.

With Mcdavid: 30-35 goals, 70-75 points

Without jesus: 25 goals, 60 points

He was on pace for around 30+30 last year before he got injured playing 2/3c with ****e wingers.
I would love to seem him clip over 70 points. He never has right??

He will never live up to 1st overall. That ship has sailed as he may not even be a top 10 in a redraft. But he could likely carve out a 3rd line center/top 6 winger on a contending team

You might want to look at what 2nd and 3rd line centers produce on the top teams. RNH is a lot more like a 2C than a 3C.

he's a disappointing player. he should be able to drive a 2nd line from the center ice position and make players better but that's not who he is at this point.

Yep. Was coached into him that bad defense was why we were losing. So he stopped playing his high octane hugh offense style and into a dont give an inch 2 way guy. (Its stupid ik)
god he was a brutal coach even with the Marlies

Never built up strength like he should have. Good player. Happy to have him with McDavid right now, but looking back...1st overall? ehhhhh
