Marchand, I hate the guy but his motor never stops. E. Kane on the ice is also always grinding, hes considered a skilled guy, but really it's hard work that gets him points, the dude shoots wide constantly but forchecks and battles in the corners so much he gets a ton of opportunities to score.

I personally thought Ovechkin worked his ass off in his earlier years. He didn't play great defense, but offensively and physically he always brought a lot of intensity and effort, it seemed.
