So the other day it was sunny at 95 here in the Boston area and I parked next to a sprinkler at my office building. The sprinkler came on mid day, got my car soaked, then it baked in the sun for a few hours. We are on well water here at my office building. Anyways, it left what I thought were hard water stains on the door and hood but the more I look at the damage, I don't think they are hard water stains because I tried using the water/vinegar solution that a lot of people recommend and it didn't work. I have an appointment to get my car detailed but that's not for another month.
Do any of you know what these stains look like and have a suggestion for how to get rid of them?
