With the great Doc Emerick retired, Jack's preparedness is unmatched. I've always admired how he went to lengths to get pronunciations of opposing players correct.

I'll get a little sappy here - we've had NHL Center Ice for over 15 years. My dad just turned 84 and you could count the Bruins game we've missed in that time frame on one hand.

We've experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows, with Edwards and Brickley providing the commentary.

Nothing lasts forever, but the memories of this current core will.

Jack Edwards is a huge part of them, and he's made the ride immeasurably entertaining.

I don't know how many more we have left, so I cherish every "dent in the end boards," "back-diagonal," "A-frames," "Penalty bench," and "Tumbling muffin," we still have.
