He’s been doing well in the swedish junior leagues… might be a guy to look at in the near future. I don’t know how to watch the swedish junior leagues so i have no comment on how he plays but seems to have a solid scoring touch based on his stats
Lots of raw skill, not much else. Just broke into J20. Don’t see him getting drafted but could be an overager pick if he rounds out his game.

Leksands IF har skrivit tvååriga rookiekontrakt med talangerna Lucas Lagerberg och Hannes Hellberg, båda födda 2004, där planen är att båda lånas ut till HockeyAllsvenskan under den kommande säsongen.
Signed a 2 year rookie contract with Leksand. Plan is for him to play in Allsvenskan this upcoming season.

I was surprised to see him go undrafted. We'll see how he progresses next year in the Allsvenskan.

Yeah, for sure. I thought last seasons performance was worth a late round gamble on him. Does he have some glaring holes in his game to make him get passed on?
Is there a reason this kid was passed up on two consecutive drafts? I mean his junior numbers look absolutely terrific. And he seems to be doing good in the Alsvenskan.

yes, if he was born 14 days later he would have only been passed over for last years draft, so he would likely have been one of the youngest players eligible for the draft the 1st time.

I was shocked he wasnt higher up on OA boards then not a single team took a late round flyer on him. Perhaps there are some glaring holes in his game that have been overlooked.

Absolutely. Will be a high selection this year, reminds me a bit of when Samuel Fagemo was looked over. He projects very well as an NHL level talent and was my highest ranked undrafted player.
