Rielly pretty comfortably. a 55-60 point two way defenseman is much more valuable than a 30 point defensive specialist

Yeah. The old AINEC comes out here.
Leafs with Lindholm are an absurdly scary team.
Don't really agree with that, Rielly isn't the problem, the hole beside Rielly is the problem. The leafs would be scary with a right handed Lindholm in addition to Rielly

Lindholm is almost as good offensively and much better defensively.
do you do polls just to have a platform to engage people with an opposing opinion in arguments?

Lindholm by a decent amount, his defensive ability is miles ahead and while Rielly is better offensively it’s not enough to close the gap in defensive play.

I would love to see what Lindholms production would be playing on the Leafs top PP unit too, he gets absolutely shafted on the Ducks playing on their second unit.

Leafs top PP basically splits PP time equally with our 2nd unit, so our 1st PP doesn't really see that much ice-time. Rielly saw 26 seconds more a game, which is sizable but not huge. He also rotated on the top unit with Gardiner. Assuming the Leafs are fully healthy the two units are split as such Bozak-Kadri-JVR-Marner and Marleau-Matthews-Nylander-Brown (but often changed). Rielly tended to play with the 1st unit, but it was set in stone.

Lindholm is seriously overrated. This defensive edge he has isn’t nearly as big as people are making it out to be.

If Lindholm is an 80 defensively, Rielly is a 75
