As far as today's game, Barrie really had no business still being in that game for as long as they were. I'm starting to dislike this one man on the point system they've been running on the power play as of late. It seems to be coughing up a lot of breakaways and two on ones. Thankfully, our offence picked up the slack. Very important pair of games to win the weekend, even if it was ugly. The Dogs are now 9 points ahead of 9th place. The next five games are going to be hard to walk away with points. Thankfully, Barrie looks to have a fairly tough run for the next few as well, Peterborough and North Bay, not as much.

Sudbury is the team I would like to play, although it will be tough to beat any one of those teams in a series.

They give up a lot of chances on the PP because of the pass back on the zone entry and running the PP in the umbrella formation. It's too predictable.

The pass back is fine, but in the Peterborough game, the Petes player was literally hanging back waiting for it. They need to adjust and just carry the puck in when that happens. The system is too rigid. Let the kids make a few decisions on their own.
