Feeling confident about this one. I think we're in for another tight match.

Where should our lines change as compared to opening night?

Both Domi and Drouin may need to be moved around (for different reasons.)

I think we see Plekanec sit again until the home opener, I doubt Scherbak or Alzner draw back in either.

The Pens usually kill us (Sid especially) so I'm feeling a bit doom and gloom about this one.

Expecting to see Pleks back in for Peca so he can play #1000 at home. Alzner? Who knows.

If the TO effort is there though, we'll keep it interesting.

So let's see how the refs protect another babies, should be a good match and let's see how they keep Alzner scratched again!

I'm not ready to eat some crow yet... but what I saw from Domi last night was pleasing!
He played well enough for me to look up crow pie recipes on pintrest :sarcasm::sarcasm: still need a larger sample before I start buying the ingredients to make said pie... so far so good thou...

Unless someone is injured or sick, no one should be sitting
Alzner and Pleks just no longer belong

Drouin, wake the f*** UP!!!

Plekanec will probably play this game and the next one so he can get his 1000th game on the opener.

Alzner will replace Benn, Plek will be in too.

Not gonna be an easy one! (well, no game will be easy for us this year anyway...)

Showcase Scherbak.

He's got the moves like Jagr. *

Plekanec matches up better with franchise centers. Period.
He doesn't though...at least not anymore

Franchise centers play 20+ mins a game.

You're doing them a favor if you're matching up Plekanec against them because that means he's on the ice as much as their franchise centers are.

Plekanec USED to be a very good center to match up against top lines because he put as much pressure on them to defend, he could still contribute offensively.

He's a one-dimensional player now...

Habs actually held Matthews & Tavares in check at even strength last night...

Matthews scored his first goal on the PP and his 2nd goal was in OT 3 on 3

Tavares scored his goal at even strength on the ONLY shift of the game where he was matched up vs our 4th line.
