Is there any other way? Was there anyone that thought Montreal wouldn't continue to be the perennial second choice?I think it came out since MB lost out on all the player he was targetting.
I'm not big on a Radulov deal, but he needs to be signed or else we're in huge trouble IMO
But with Weber in the looker, we have more leadership than what he had back then in Nashville. So we trade Subban because of locker room issues and whatnot, but we get Radulov?
Oh boy, I mean he's skilled but how long will he last. UFA's keep dropping like flies if this signing isnt true MB did nothing yet again

On the other end, we were among top two choice for Lucic so the money most have been comparable.
Considering Mackenzie hasn't even mentioned Radulov it is probably safe to assume that this is just another ploy from Radulov and his ******* entourage.
Hopefully it is just bs because Radulov would bomb badly under Therrien.
The fact is that players just don't want to come to Montreal for a myriad of justifiable reasons. The end result is having to wade through other people's rejects.
Just a quick comment from a Nashville fan. Radulov would never been welcomed back in Nashville as a player. He and Weber have remained good friends so I'm assuming the Subban deal basically had assurances from Weber that he could bring in Radulov from Russia. Still think the Habs fan base is greatly underestimating Weber's presence, though. Not the awful trade your fanbase is making it out to be.
