After years of being the offensively-stacked team losing to marginal squads with godly goalies, it's nice to be on the other side of the equation for once.

 :handclap: great way to think about it. Elliott got us both goalies

I said to someone the other day that Brian Elliott woke up this year and realized that he is, in fact, Brian Elliott. :D Last year is looking increasingly like an outlier for him statistically. Even at that, he only played 38 games last year, with Halak getting the rest. People talk about the guy like he carried 65 games for the Blues last year, but he didn't.

It's only a matter of time before goalies adjust and Silfverberg has to come up with a different "move" (not that it's really a move).

The next time he goes, you can be sure the goalie will know what to expect.

He's done the same thing every time, and he did it all the time in the SEL. Occasionally he'd go stick side. He's not going to change. The goalie might know he's going there but they still have to guess when he's shooting and try and stop a puck moving like a bullet which he can somehow pinpoint the corner with almost every time.
