Well, we have to play better next game.

I can recall with big winning streaks that you hit those games that you don't deserve to win, but win anyway.

Then you start losing those games.

Team has to rebound and dictate play a hell of a lot more if they want to keep this going.

Our goaltending is fantastic but we can't go back to binary hockey (1 goal or 0 goals).

Thought this was a cool stat from last night:

Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson entered the game with 420 career goals. The rest of the Ottawa lineup had a combined 524

That's amazing. And say Gonchar sat out, the number would drop to 309.

Edit: the Sens scored more than that (312) in one season in 2005-06.

The next time he goes, you can be sure the goalie will know what to expect.

Having a goalie thinking your gonna shoot somewhere is the best thing that can happen for a shooter.

In Silf's case, a simple head fake high glove, and then go backhand low blocker.

Its my personal favorite. Works every time if you sell the fake well enough. I betcha the next shoot out Silf does it.
