This team falls apart defensively. Something is wrong.

That Jones goal was awful, 4 Habs standing around watching Jones push the rebound in. Poor positioning by Plekanec while the rest watched. And this after a completely unnecessary turnover by White in the neutral zone.

Yikes. This team goes through periods where they look absolutely lost in the d zone.

When was the last time you saw a clean breakout from our zone. Every time the puck goes along the boards we get jammed up and it goes back in. On the rare occasion that a forward can chip it out there is nobody there so their D just slams it back in our zone!
I actually noticed that the Therrien breakout was actually less effective than Jacques Martin's from THE VERY BEGINNING. Whereas with Martin, there would be breakouts from the middle of the ice, our breakout is mostly "chuck it up the boards". Martin had many flaws and I'm glad he's gone, but the breakout strategy employed by him was better than Therrien's.

Both tsn.ca and nhl.com say the game ended 4-3, but none of them show the 3rd montreal goal in the boxscore... wtf??

Martin is ten times the coach Therrien is.

Exactly, it felt like I was watching a replay of the Ottawa series.

Well we went from
Cole
Ryder
Briere
Holland

Can't expect much and add the Pacioretty is injured.

This team is in trouble it is actually weak on the wings with Max and Prust Briere(even if he struggled) injured.

Good god, Galchy was awful on Hemsky's goal. No effort. Just gave up.

Wow...

There's a lot of things I disagree with Therrien on...playing Galchenyuk on the wing is not one of them. It's covered up a lot of turnovers when the rest of the team isn't playing this bad. I hope he plays C when he matures more, but right now him and Eller together is more logical.

On another note Bournival did pick up 2 assists tonight and is looking great. Hopefully he takes the 3rd center job soon and sends DD in the toy story 3 garbage dump thingy (unless we want to play Briere in that spot and keep Bournival as a winger or on the 4th). Beaulieu, Holland and Blunden have all been good too. Gallagher is awesome as always, and Galchenyuk has wicked potential, its hard to believe he's only 19.

tl;dr once we get rid of our mighty veterans we'll be rocking some socks off and we should already plan the parade (...what?)

Many defensive holes and not enough offense to compensate. Most of the games won so far this season were somewhat undeserved. I expect to lose the next 2 games.

Yeah galchenyuk keeps on doing his kovalev always looking for the perfect top corner... just shoot dont think too much dont aim the top corner post... I dont see adjusments yet. Can Therrien be a little harder on him instead of trying to burn alive P.K.?

Hahahahaha. SouthernHab strikes again:laugh: You'll never ever let go, right ?

YES. AC blaming DD

And you will forever be the same.

Pick a couple of players to bash day after day and then dont have the balls to call out mistakes from your man crushes.

If Pleks was stupid enough to say that the Oilers were a junior team, I would say the same thing about him.

Maybe you can tweet your fave man to comfort him.

I actually agree. But Martin's not a coach for this team - too conservative for what we have.

Therrien just isn't a good Xs and Ox guy and JJ Daigneault is waking a fine line between an NHL job and being locked up in a crazy house.

The problem with Desharnais is that he sucks on both end of the ice. If you want to play in the nhl you have to at least be a pk or pp specialist. Right now Desharnais isn't scoring and certainly isn't a pk specialist like Moen or Prust. Bournival should get Desharnais's full time spot kid can defend and play on the pk at least.

Hence why he has to score because if not he becomes a liability to the team.

Diaz and Gorges are really the softest pairing in the league right now. I can't wait for Emelin to get back so that we can sit Diaz because he brings nothing to this team except soft plays after soft plays.

Next game i would bring up Pateryn and Leblanc and play them before Holland and Beaulieu. Pateryn deserves a shot he has been playing well in hamilton this year and Leblanc brings some speed and is decent in his zone.
