Thanks for the suggestion - just watched it. Can't say I liked it, the film exists solely on borrowed material, but it does belong in this thread. I wished they'd went a little more into mythos and imaginative stuff, as it's pretty much just a straightforward variation on the Alien films (with items from other movies left and right) with lovecraftian monsters, and not much of a lovecraftian film.

I've been enjoying some Lovecraft film and television adaptions recently and I'm interested to see if anyone has any recommendations. They don't have to be direct adaptions, they could just be inspired by Lovecraft.

This could also just turn in to a general Lovecraft discussion thread.

I think Herbert West was done justice, and that Dagon is a pretty good film. Gordon might have taken liberties with the From Beyond plot, but the film was still a nice adaptation (I haven't seen Banshee Chapter, I should).
