In my grade 11 hockey class there was one girl in the class so when we went on the ice and changed she either hid in the bathroom or got her own room. Always felt bad for her, I mean I completely understood but it must've been an uncomfortable experience. On the ice she was defiantly one of the top 3 worst in the class but she showed up every day and really tried.
Granted this was a class and not a team, but most of us had played hockey all of our lives so it was definitely a normal locker room but everyone treated her like one of the guys from what I remember. Nothing really was uncomfortable. She was really into the NHL so it made talking to her really easy
