Leafaholix, Rob Schremp was taken 25th overall in his draft just a few short months ago. And now you have him 25th overall in terms of entire prospects? Do you think THAT highly of him?

I don't see him being a better prospect then Cam Barker, Montoya, Olesz, Schwarz, Zajac, Wolski, Meszaros and Chucko to name a few.

  4. He said in no particular order.

Yup, he did. Thats what I get for working 12 hours and thinking I am still away.

    My mistake.

I don't care where he was picked in the draft, his potential is higher than most of the forwards in the 2004 draft.

Ray Emery is a top 50 prospect for sure, IMO.

I thought I had him in there, my bad.

IMO he's one of the top 5 goaltending prospects. Very underrated.

Another CBJ draftee... Dan Fritsche... is a possible #40-50 on the list.

    Potentional != great prospect.

Adrian Foster oozes potential... but that doesn't mean he's a good prospect.

Shremp fell to 25th for a reason. He'll most likely bust.

Because you said so, or is there a better reason?

  15. He fell to 25th because of his attitude. I expect him to be succesful in the NHL.

Nice first attempt... brave one to go first. Though, i'd probably have Semin in there somewhere. Maybe Lupul if he's still able to be put in the list. Probably a few others.

Don't think Lupul is eligible, he played 75 games.

As for Semin and Horton, they're automatic. I used last years top 50 as a source and replaced the guys I thought shouldn't be in this years version. Because the core of the top 30 or so should be around again.

I may be missing a few guys, but Christopher Higgins is easily a top 50 prospect.

very debatable. i dont think he has the upside to a top quality player and therefore hed be around 40-60th for me.

  23. leafaholix*

    leafaholix* Guest

I think he has the upside of a good 2nd line player, and a very good 3rd line forward, captain material. If that's not "top quality", well I guess you should eliminate guys like Ryan Kesler and Andrew Ladd from these lists.

Meh hes got potential, but i dont see him playing a Huge factor on the Canadiens, I see him as a future 3rd liner
