Kupari has never played in NA and he’s just about to turn 19.

I would think Vilardi, if healthy has the inside track, but likely no as well since he has very little pro experience.

I really think Amadio takes over the 3rd line center and either Lewis is 4th line center, the Kings bring back Thompson on a one year OR they add someone else.

I also think Kovy is gone.

Also, Clague is not a #7 health scratch D. Kings prob re sign Fattenberg. Gotta imagine Brickley gets a taste next year.

Kupari has been excellent playing against older men in Finland. The NHL is more of a young man’s game now. Prospects on ELCs are getting more opportunities. I think he will have every chance to earn a spot.

Amadio hasn’t nailed down a spot in his time in LA yet. Maybe he will tho.

I’d want out if I was Kovy. I just think between his NMC and contract, it might be a difficult move. Besides, I like him.

Agreed on Vilardi, I very much hope so.

I think Carter gets moved in the offseason while Amart, Toffoli and Quick likely get moved at TDL unless this team miraculously turns it around.. and yes, i have Proks finally coming over! usually around this time he'd sign an extension but not this season and Futa seems pretty confident they get him over!

I know its because i set it up but our top 9 ain't bad, the defense is another story but Quickie makes stars of people

Iaffalo - Kopitar - Brown
Kovy - Kempe - Toffoli
Grundstrum/Leipsic - Lewis - JAD
Clifford - Amadio - Luff/Wagner

Free Agent - Doughty
Martinez - Walker
Forbort - LaDue
Phaneuf

Quick
Campbell

I'm assuming Kovy, Martinez and Quick all survive the trade deadline.

Lewis at 3C is more of a place holder. I'm assuming Vilardi and Kupari aren't ready yet.

The free agent playing with Doughty may be a pipe dream, but I'd like the team to invest in a proper partner for Doughty and quit pairing him with inferior players.

Phaneuf rides the pine at the beginning of his long goodbye.

I'm really getting tired of Iafallo on the top line. He's just not good enough. He should have to battle for a roster spot next year.

I’d love for LA to trade for Faulk or Barrie honestly.

Kaako would be great.

Can’t see MacDermid or Lintuniemi making the team. I like MacD tho.

HM/Last cuts: Scherbak, JAD, Vilardi, Clague

Carter, Lewis and Quick will be gone in the offseason. Martinez and Toffoli at the deadline (someone will over pay for Toffoli).

Martinez to Tampa for Cernak + 3rd + cap dump
Toffoli for a young NHL LHD...1 for 1

I called Wagner as the Dark horse player to make the team last offseason (this year). This coming offseason (next year's team), I'm gonna say...Matt Roy

P.s. I hope we sign some college free agents like Bobo Carpenter (Boston University) and Nico Sturm (Clarkson University, Rempal teammate).

Tampa needs all the cap space it can get. They're not going to give up cost controlled Cernak for Martinez.

Tampa also has a lot of Dman coming up as UFAs and could use Martinez on the left side. Cernak could be moved because they have Foote coming up to take that spot. They really only have Point and Cirelli to sign. Maybe they might be open to something like...

Martinez + prospect for Cernak + Miller + 3rd

Suggest that to Tampa Bay fans and see what they say.

Hoven thinks Roy will get a look this year.

Isn’t there a Bowling Green dman that’s touted and a ufa? Sounds like Blake’s m.o.

Roy has looked very good and improved in the limited games I've seen this year.

And I believe the prospect is...

Alec Rauhauser, LHD, Bowling Green

Maybe lose one Alec (Martinez trade) and gain another lol

This. And Forbort on the top pairing. That needs to end ASAP.
That back end looks bad. Need a solid prospect to step in or a forward swapped for a dman.

Faulk
Barrie
Krug

Are similar cap hits to Toffoli. Not sure LA is looking to add something like that tho.

If they don’t address the defense it will be another long year.

Forbort likely will be exposed to Seattle if still around.

Hey guys, some Prokhorkin mentions lately, does he actually come over this year? No contract for next year right now and scoring a ppg in the K. TIA

Futa made a trip to Europe during the Kings preseason to see Kupari, Prokhorkin, etc., and he spoke with Porky about coming over. Porky gave Futa his word that he wouldn't sign a new deal until after speaking with the Kings about coming to the NHL. So it sounds like he is going to get a shot to come over this year if he wants too
