South Korea has the best player, but their team as a whole is not of the same quality.

I didn't really read into the schedule much, but I'm a bit surprised that this is not being played today.

Betting on Sweden but it will be tight.

Haha, crafty bugger

Shin Tae-yong made players swap shirts to try to confuse opposition

"We switched them around because we didn't want to show our opponents everything and to try and confuse them," said Tae-yong.
"They might know a few of our players but it is very difficult for Westerners to distinguish between Asians and that's why we did that."

His words, not mine.

3 points basically a must in this game or the World Cup will be over before it even began after that Germany upset last night...

Surely they played poor in both exhibitiongames against Denmark and Peru. But you can't take any action from these games. I'm pretty certain they will rise the level of their game now when it matters.

I remember the game against Wales before Euro 2016. We won 3-0. Result in the tournament? Sweden out in the groupstage and Wales to semifinal.

At anything, really. They lost against Qatar. 60something-year-old Bum-Kun Cha would be an improvement for that team.

That's when Stielike was still with Team Korea. They fired him and switched him with Shin Tae-Yong. They haven't lost to low-tier teams like Qatar ever since.

This is probably the first game in this tournament that I really don't have any interest in watching... which probably means it will turn out to be a WC classic that will finish 7-6 or something.

Or not.

Honestly, I'm just there for Korea. Sweden hasn't had matches quite electrifying, but I think their facing Korea can spark some of that electricity.

Cheering for Sweden. Even though they look like a very limited team, hard work, team work, etc... Lets see if they can get some results in.
