Group in chaos. Easiest way to sum it up is that Hungary are through no matter what, Iceland goes through with another draw, and so does Portugal. Austria needs a win and they would be assured of passage.

Didn't want Portugal to face Belgium in the next round but if topping the group gets them onto that side of the bracket, yes please.

Would love to see Hungary win the group, which would likely set us up against Belgium. However, I hope I will also be hoping that Sweden defeat Portugal and as that would be a lot more favorable of a matchup than it would be to finish 2nd and be on that side of the bracket or playing Ronaldo and Portugal.

Hopefully austria learns from their last match and trust Schopf & Sabitzer for the full 90. They are their best attackers already.

did anyone see Ronaldo throw the journalist's mic into a river? bahaha

Before everyone bashes the guy, the reporter is from a TV station which has been slandering both Ronaldo and his family for years. Ronaldo even won a court case against them.

I think he deserves most of the flak he gets, but that was pretty hilarious to see for a change.

I'm not a fan of his, but he gets more flak than he deserves. He seems like a good guy (plenty of stories of him doing really nice things for kids and for his home island) who's just overly emotional.

I sort of agree. Ibrahimovic is every bit as arrogant but gets a pass because he's funny and probably more intelligent than Ronaldo.

Portugal dominated both of their games but failed to get it done. I think they're ripe for a win.

Is it me or this configuration of the Top half of the lower bracket could look like this?

Germany
Portugal
Italy
Spain

(And would also be funny as hell?)

Alaba has been one of the worst players in this tournament. Been out of control with the majority of his passes.
