According to a Swedish major TV network, Ekman-Larsson is out with a hand injury. This has been confirmed by Sweden's team physician. Combined with Grossman being out for the tournament, Sweden will have to play with five defensemen this game. They are likely to bring in reinforcements for upcoming games.

Out of the first 20 minutes, Sweden had puck possesion in like 17 of them. No wonder the penalties keep coming. A lot of holds, hooks, slashes and whatnot let go and not called aswell.
