I wouldn't mind if we lost this game. I have a nasty feeling that if we don't lose before the quarter-final, our unbeaten run will finish either then, or in the semis. I don't want another Prague 2004.....

No, this is just superstition ;) Russians won WC without a loss in 2009 I think. Of course we can lose QF, you never know. But it won't be influenced by losing or not losing one game in this phase.

Russians want revenge, they'll be dangerous (I mean, more than they usually are).

As for not losing before QF... Well, if we end up first in our group, then we should get the 'weakest' opponent from the other group - which is likely gonna be either Switzerland or Norway. Losing to them in QF would be... embarrassing :sarcasm:

Russia has been playing very bad this tournament. Czech Republic will win easy :handclap:

No we won't. I have this bad feeling we're getting overconfident again - after beating a bunch of 'weaker' opponents, the only exception being Finland.

Maybe now is the time to get slapped. Our team always performs better when it is in a position of being the underdog (see the last WC).

I think Czech will win, although on both team's best day i see Russia winning but they are not consistent enough.

Voracek with the goal on the rebound.

Rolinek and Skoula with the assists.
