IMO not as good as his stats would indicate. I remember him going pointless in the games Pulu missed because of the WJC.

LOL better team b/c we turned over the puck and put Pavelec on the spot????? Hardly the "better" team.. All the Finns always are going to make their team something they are not. This is just an even fun fast game.. Czechs need to stop turning that puck over carelessly.. Doesn't mean Finland is outplaying them.... LOL at you guys.
The ref did whistle but Komarov carried on trying to shove the puck into the net, if not starting then at least accelerating the situation.
You kinda have to give some penalty for that imho, but correct call would have given a penalty to the Czechs too..
Tripping the goal when you have a 5 on 3 though is unforgivable..

Forcing your opposition to mistakes is outplaying too. Your team just stayed on the perimeter and tried to look cute. I give it to you that the Czech is icing a more skilled team, but that doesn't mean they played better in the first period.

Yeah, Leo poked at the goalie after the whistle but perhaps he didn't hear it. Still inexcusable to only give Komarov a penalty especially when Finland was already shorthanded.
Thats correct. Komarov was late and looked like he thought play was still alive and continued playing. Clear penalty. Czechs were just on him after that, nothing wrong with that. Correct call by refs.

Of course they gave both teams penalties in that end, but not in the Komarov case...

We had Quality shots.. The Czechs dont shoot just to shoot it.. They lull you to sleep and play methodical.. It's called patience.. That won them the gold last year so if u call a few more shots and a few more from turning the puck over infront of their own goal then fine lol... Not creating your own shots through skill. Game is just even, hence the score and shot totals aren't far off my friend. These are 2 differn't styles of hockey at a super fast pace.. To have the "Finnish Parade" here and on every thread making this Finland team out to be gods is just funny
