Schürrle he can't be serious.
Someone get Müller some Zielwasser in the halftime.
And, to the surprise of absolutely no-one, Kimmich offers a ton more than Höwedes.
All 10 players in green behind the ball.
Hopefully Germany pots in a few more goals.
His time will come, just wait and see.
Kimmich is amazing. A great playmaking RB is one of the biggest differences in Germany's play today. I hope he can make that position his own for the national team like Lahm did.
Surely this pun has been beaten to death.
Höwedes said it himself that he is not an offernsive player and he has no problem with being on the bench this game.
Slovakia qualify for the next round if these results hold right?
Man down, man down.
Hell or a tournament he's having.
He had a very nice two touch shot just before that though
Poland can still top the group here right?
Think they need to win by two more goals.
If Poland scores again..
then both POL and GER will have beaten NIR 1-0 and UKR 2-0
and they drew eachother 0-0
so, coin toss?
I think the Fifa team rating goes into effect there (?) , i'm not 100% sure.
Full tiebreaker rules:
So fairplay conduct and UEFA coefficient are next.
Come on NIR
This Euro is so crap. I don't think it's the 24 teams even specifically, it's the 3rd placed team rule and the importance that places on GD.
Northern Ireland has zero incentive to open up here because they figure their GD puts them in a decent chance to qualify at 0-1.
A lot of people are blaming the defensive tactics because of the lack of incentive to get forward but the creativity and finishing has also been substandard. Germany had plenty of chances to score in the first half.
Not impressed by Polands attack
Germany's forwards are pretty out of form overall. Müller and Götze in particular. Still I wouldn't say they're lacking creativity at all.
The pitch quality isn't good for creativity or finishing. These pitches are considerably slower than what you'd see in the typical high end stadiums in the top leagues which helps defenders and goalkeepers. While the weather improved recently many of these pitches are still in the shape of a late November rugby pitch.
You have Germany, Italy, France and England in one bracket...other teams are meh.
And potentially Switzerland/Poland, Spain, Wales and Hungary/Iceland/Portugal as "top teams" in the other bracket.
Such utter ********. Easy path for Spain.
Would you go with Fabianski or Szczesny in the knockout stages?
Separate names with a comma.
