Ukraine is the only team eliminated and the other three have a good chance of making it through this group. Northern Ireland will likely be inviting Germany onto them with a very low block and not attack all match.

Would love it if Northern Ireland advances......friend of the family has been in France for the Euro and has already caught their other matches. Will be at this one as well.

Fabianski in goal again, Nawalka told Szczesny is not ready. Cionek will take Piszczek's place at RB, as Piszczek has been booked against Northern Ireland and Nawalka doesn't want to risk losing him in the knockout round. Kapustka in for Grosicki and Zielinski will take Maczynski's place.

I sadly do not expect Northern Ireland to even try crossing the midfield line in today's game. Some amazing football to be had here.:sarcasm:

Yea, NIR know that a draw all but guarantees them advancement and even a loss by a single goal gives them an alright shot.

Hoping Germany and Ukraine win, and win just so NIR goes through.

While I do not expect spectacular football either, the challenge of facing a massive defensive will eventually happen to the advancing teams anyway. Each and every team tries to get as many players behind the ball as possible. So if Germany does not want to end up as a laughing stock, they better start showing at least some class - which only Neuer and Boateng did so far.

    Gruß,

Holy **** Loew actually started Kimmich instead of Howedes, I'm amazed.

I thought Schurrle would be better than Gotze on the left wing.

    Great pass from Özil.

    Better long pass from GOATeng

There's very little on a football field at which Schürrle is better than Götze. Running and that's it.

Oh look, our offense finally arrived in France. Now put that round thing in the angular shaped thing.

The biggest difference is having an actual striker that constantly engages two defenders and having someone on the right side with Kimmich has opened up a lot of space, which finally allows Götze and Özil to show their skills.

Excellent goal. Gomez's combination play as usual very good.
