Both teams are heavily reliant on one player, obviously. Wales does appear to have a better overall first team, but I don't think that's for certain.

I think the Slovaks pull an upset and win 2-1.

I'm curious, Slovakia tends to come out big against big teams but struggle against smaller ones, guess it depends what they consider Wales :sarcasm:

That's what I was alluding to, for the Euro draw Wales was a Pot 4 team but for the World Cup Qualifiers they were a Pot 1 team

I dunno about that. They're pretty close on talent and Slovakia are well organized, with a strong collective; but I think it's close enough to be a legit toss up. Neither side winning would be an upset IMO.

Didn't these two teams play against each other literally a week ago? Anybody seen the game?

No teams from the same group can't play friendly matches in the tournament lead-up. Slovakia played Germany and Northern Ireland while Wales played Sweden

Tough game to call, Wales obviously have the best player on the pitch and one who can change a match but I would say Slovakia are slightly the better team overall. Wales will be tough to break down. Problem with Slovakia is they are very inconsistent, on their day they can look great but I've also seen them in qualifying struggle against 'lesser' teams than Wales

It's had to have come up already, but that ESPN Paris green screen is an embarrassment. Looks completely ridiculous.
