Even if it was ruled as a deflection that would put the decision back to the initial cross and he was well onside for that.

I agree Hodgson's going all in at this point, but considering the zone advantage it's not an entirely ridiculous move. Considering we're at the group stage though and they only have one point so far, there's a case for caution

They've already got two forwards out there and are creating a ton of chances. What they need is an incisive final ball, which Wilshere can provide. Rashford is redundant. The offensive spark needs to be in midfield.
