I'm still saying 9-2 final!
Come on Roy as an Oiler fan you embarrassing me
Visintine needs to start important games. I've changed my mind on Roy.
LOL @ Bob Dobolina's WJC woes.
Despres did something offensive! Woooooooo
So Roy ducked the shot, and I hear Kassian is suspended?
You get the funny feeling McGuire doesn't like Olivier Roy. Never a good thing to say when he makes a save, and picks on him for every goal.
I find it to be complete ******** that Kassian is automatically suspended from the next game when his hit was clean!
Kassian gets an automatic one-game suspension for the match penalty. Dan Marouelli will meet with the game officials and determine whether he'll get any more.
Every time I think the NHL couldn't do more to *****fy the game, there's an IIHF tournament to show me the definition of the term. The worst part is that the NHL will likely adopt similar rules in the future.
1 automatic game apparently
I think Visentin should play next game... and he probably will.
Roy basically pulled a DiPietro.
I noticed that too.
He just singled out Roy's save as the "boom" of the game.
Weird, the way I read that the first time, it was a case of causation.
Roy ducked the shot, and because of that, Kassian gets a game.
Not sure WTF people are thinking when they asked if Roy is scared of the puck lol but the guy is so small...he dropped down because he didn't see the shot and it went over his head lol
Not sure if you can play in the NHL considering the high amounts of net traffic
Oh well, quite a blowout here. I don't know, the real shock would be if/when Canada loses a game in the non-elimination round again. They've lost like 3 of 27 elimination games since 2001, right? All gold medal games too. It's funny how this is usually a two-horse race tourney between Canada and whoever's on a roll- used to be Russia, now is USA. Canada stomps these countries but in the Olympics, even Switzerland keeps it close. Bottom line: Canada has the world's best players at 18-20 and it sort of evens out after that a little and becomes a closer battle. Oh well, at least it ain't women's hockey lack of challenges, hehe.
Say what you will about Norway but I bet they brought the guys team........
Roy is good. His history speaks for itself....but he's definitely fighting it right now.
Alright. Now the focus shifts. GO SLOVAKIA!
Wow, was expecting a much closer game
national anthem time!
