Well, looks like Ilya will need to get on a plane ASAP & learn how to play as a forward in less than a day, then.

Jeez Sweden has a stacked D even in World Championships Klingberg, Lindholm and OEL would all make every international teams roster except maybe Canada.

OEL makes it easy. Klingberg would struggle with Doughty, Subban, Pietrangelo and Burns to compete with on the right side. Lindholm probably doesn't make it due to reputation - he doesn't put up huge numbers so nobody knows who he is. Although Canada's left side is really weak so he could make it.

I don't rate Larsson though. Feel he's extremely overrated due to draft position and the fact he was traded for Hall.

I think Ra's talking about Canada's roster this year, which our top 4 would make it.

I do think Lindholm would make the Canadian roster if you'd have everybody available as he's a really good LD who provides an allround game with focus on defense. Meanwhile Klingberg would be a coin toss, and Larsson wouldn't make it for Canada nor Sweden.

They’re going to realize Kempe needs some pp time eventually.

Again Klingberg makes a play and Nyquist with a good finish.
